The Jaguar
The Jaguar is a deadly creature that will eat just about anything that they can find. Their attack is they bite into the preys brain they go near the two ears and then make a fatal bite into the skull. It is the third largest feline behind the lion   and the tiger.  These animals are frequently killed by humans for blankets or jackets.
They mostly eat  capybara, tapirs, peccaries, dogs, foxes, anacondas, frogs,, birds, fish, sloths, monkeys, turtles,.  It sleeps in trees.  It also interacts with water and the weather because most of the time its raining and that makes it harder for the prey to see at a distance so then they can jump and kill easier .  They also use the terrain to hide and stock their prey.  They adapt to the environmental factors by hiding under trees to stay away from all of the rain.

 The cougar
The cougar is part of the big cat family. they can live all around the world.  Their diet is mostly deer, elk, birds and small mammals such as hares, and mice.  It adapts to the humid weather because they live in different weather so the species body is built for the weather.
They use the rocks and bushes to hide from their prey and they kill it with stealth.  The cougar is also called a stalk and ambush predator.   They kill an estimated one big ungulate every 2 weeks.  So those are the two big cats in the tropical rainforest next you will hear about reptile apex predators in the tropical rainforest.

Crocodile
The crocodile that you will be learning about is the Nile crocodile.  This crocodiles diet is really interesting because their diet changes as they age so a newborn or hatchling would typically eat small fish and invertebrates such spiders and larvae and other insects found along were they live.  As this crocodile grows its d it changes its prey to larger fish and reptiles it can also eat smaller mammals.  The Nile crocodile adapts to the humid weather and the rainforest because they might not be used to not as many swampy areas.  The Nile crocodile also uses the land to hide their eggs and protect their eggs.
